Edo election: Benin Traditional Council hails Obaseki

The Benin Traditional Council headed by Omo Noba NEdo,Uku Akpokokpoko,Ewuare 11,Oba of Benin has congratulated Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state over his reelection for a second term in office.
While reinstating the nonpartisan posture of the Benin throne during election campaign for the people speak for themselves through their voite,he urged the people to support the Governor in his development strides in order to take the state to the next level.
The Omo Noba also expressed its appreciation to President Muhammad Buhari for ensuring the state election”was free,fair and violent free and candidates of the order parties for adhering to the advice for a violent free giving to them during the peace meeting in the Obas palace.
He also sent his appreciation to the National Peace Commission headed by former head of state,General Abdusalami Abubakar for the signing of the peace accord among the gubernatorial candidates thereafter and also commended the Independent National Electoral(INEC) headed by Prof Mahmood Yakubu for a successful and peaceful election in the state.
