Below is full unedited copy of the petition demanding the apology.

We, as the only registered Trade Union in the Creative Industry are writing on behalf of PMAN for AMP and the entire Creative Industry.

We are demanding that you tender a public apology in 5 different dailies and on 3 TV and Radio stations within Seven days of the receipt of this letter to Olorogun Zeb Ejiro, Chairman, BOT AMP, one of our founding fathers in the Creative Industry, as it was reported that you, Sir, ordered your boys to seize Olorogun Zeb Ejiro and they held him hostage in his hotel while he was trying to leave the premises in Asaba, the hotel, which was also the venue of the factional election of AMP.

We have also confirmed that all of this happened in the presence of Fred Amata, the DGN President, Opa Williams our very own prolific Film maker and Norbert Ajaegbo, our renowned International Film Marketing & Distribution guru and that were it not for their timely intervention, only God alone knows what would have happened to Zeb.

Sir, you were invited to be an observer because of your office as a regulator, you were not invited to participate in the Associations politics, yet you were perceived to be the one bankrolling and supporting one of the candidates and when you noticed Olorogun Zeb Ejiro would not support your candidate and he wasn’t comfortable with your display of antics and decided to leave, you unleashed hell on him.

As at the time Olorogun Zeb Ejiro reported this matter to us, he was completely devastated and traumatized because of the harassment, bulling and inhumane treatment he had suffered by the hands of your thugs.

Now, Mr Honorable DG, please sir, take note that we built this Industry from scratch without the regulators involvement or Government influences and we will like our industry to remain like that without your negative influences.

We all will sincerely appreciate if this apology is tendered from your office publicly to Olorogun Zeb Ejiro within the days stipulated in this demand letter and furthermore request you to go back to the drawing board to remind yourself of the capacity and limits of your office in this Industry.

Once again, take this as a final notice.
Thank you.
Signed,
Pretty Okafor
PMAN President for the Creative Industry.
