The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bọlá Tinubu, former National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, all governors, and Senators on the platform of the party across the country will storm Akure, the Ondo State Capital, on Saturday for the flagging-off campaign for the re-election of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
The flag-off is to be officially declared at the Akure Sports Stadium with all-party faithful including the Rep members from the party in attendance.
The report gathered that the Senate President, Dr Ahmed Lawan, his Deputy, Senator Ovie Omo Agege, and others are also expected to grace the occasion, while members of the Federal cabinet will also be present.
The Ondo State chapter of the party under the chairmanship of Engr Adé Adetimehin is said to be fully prepared for the august visitors who would be coming from different parts of the country.
Members of the National Assembly, Members of the APC National Campaign Council led by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and Ministers are also expected.
Ondo State governorship election is slated for October 10.
