The former Aviation minister, Femi Fain-Kayode on Saturday mourn the demise of Senator Buruji Kashamu.
Said he,”I’m shocked and saddened to hear about the passing of my friend and brother Senator Buruji Kashamu as a result of Covid 19. May the Lord honor and reward him with a place in heaven & may He forgive him of all his sins. RIP my old friend. You fought a good fight & we shall miss you.”
Recall that former Senator, representative of Ogun East senatorial district, Prince Buruji Kashamu reportedly died of COVID-19 complications.
Senator Kashamu represented Ogun East senatorial district at the eighth National Assembly between 2015 and 2019.
The death of the 62 year old stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP death was first announced in a Facebook post by his former colleague, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce.
Senator Murray-Bruce who described the deceased as a very close friend claimed that he died today at First Cardiology Consultants, Lagos
He prayed God to grant his family and loved ones the fortitude to bear the heavy loss and give rest to his gentle soul rest in peace.
