Ugwuanyi in Akure for PDP primary, meets stakeholders

Ahead of the Governorship primaries of the People’s Democratic Party In Ondo state, the electoral committee led by the Enugu State Governor, His Excellency, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, arrived Akure, the Ondo State Capital, on Tuesday night. The committee upon arrival met with the party stakeholders in the State to intimate them on their preparedness to conduct a credible primaries.
The Electoral Committee which has the Governor of Adamawa, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, as its vice chairman, also has Mohammed Imam as secretary, among others.
At the meeting with stakeholders, Governor Ugwuanyi appealed to them to prevail on their supporters to ensure a peaceful process, promising that the committee will provide a level playing ground for all the aspirants.
Though the stakes are high in Ondo, but the Ugwuanyi led committee is optimistic of delivering a credible primaries that will return the People’s Democratic Party to the Goverment House in Ondo State.
The primary election is billed to hold today in the Ondo state capital, Akure.
