The crisis between Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State and his Deputy, Agboola Ajayi, came to a head Saturday as the later resigned his membership of the All Progressive Congress(APC).
In the letter addressed to the Chairman of Apoi ward 2,kiribo in the Ese- Odo local government of the state, Ajayi expressed his appreciation to the party for the opportunity given him to serve while wishing the party the best.
It will be recalled that both men have engaged in war of attrition since Governor Akeredolu signified his intention to seek a second term in office.

However,matters came to climax Saturday as the deputy was prevented from removing one of his official car from the governors office by security operatives attached to the governor.
