A 19-year-old female student, identified as Barakat Bello, has been raped and stabbed to death in Ibadan, Oyo State, by yet-to-be identified persons.
The year one student of Institute of Agriculture, Research and Training, Ibadan, was reportedly attacked in her parents’ house in the Akinyele area of Ibadan on Monday evening.
The victim was said to be alone in the house at the time of the incident.
NewsmakersNG learnt that the victim’s sister found her body at the back of the house in a pool of her blood when she returned from Quaranic lessons.
She was reportedly buried yesterday according to Islamic injunction.
