Says enemies of progress against Africa
Former president Olusegun Obasanjo has said that the plot to stop the reelection of Professor Akinwunmi Adesinas return as President of African Development bank was the work of those against his sterling performance in office.
In a letter he wrote to the heads of state and government in African and published today,he said in spite of the ADBs endorsement by African countries some whistle blowers who are against the contingents progress are against Adesinas re election.
He expressed surprise that at the attitude of the United states which supported the setting aside of the accepted organisation Ethic committee on the board of Directors on investigating Prof Akinwunmi .
As a result he called on African heads of states to come out to endorse the accepted procedures to enable the return of Professor Akinwunmi since his reelection has been unanimously endorsed by them as a result of achieving a triple AAA ranking of the organisation during his tenure in office.
