COVID-19: Ogun extends lock down

781

The Ogun state government has extended its lockdown from May 4 to May 9 .
This in a statement Friday was necessitated by the fact that the state did not begin the first 14 days lockdown with Lagos and the FCT, hence the extension.

The statement reads:The Ogun lockdown extension will now end on Saturday, 9th May, taking into consideration the initial one week of grace granted Mr President.

The relaxation window for the next one week is:
Monday May 4,
Wednesday May 6
Friday, May 8

Now from 7am. to 5pm.

People must get to their various homes before the commencement of the daily curfew as directed by Mr President.

For the avoidance of doubt, the curfew is from 8p.m. to 6a.m. everyday and will be strictly enforced.
