The commissioner for Agriculture in Ekiti state Mr Folorunso Olabode has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
He was abducted in between Isan and Iludun Ekiti.
Report says a councillor at Ilejemeje local government who was with him was shot dead at the seen.
