Indications are high that President zmuhammadu Buhari may settle for former Lagos military Governor, Brigadier Buba Marwa,(retd) as the new chief of staff.
The choice of the Adamawa born retired general is said to be gaining upper hand in the minds of the President as those routing for him are looking at his previous record and outlook
Besides,those canvassing his choice are said to be of the view that his urbane outlook,military background and connection and roots in the North east may count in his favour and help the Presidents image.
However,the minister of education,Adamu Adamu is also a strong entrance unto the race.
He is said to be counting on his close relationship with President Buhari even before his election and the fact of his having been a cabinet minister for the second term running.
Marwa is also said to be exploiting the fact of his been from the same Adamawa state with First lady Aisha Buhari who is also said to be pulling strings for him.
