COVID-19: God is in control – Adeboye

……Urges brethren not to relax
General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God(RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye,has urged citizens not to despair over the raging Coronavirus pandemic saying God is in control of the situation.
He however urges people not to relax in abiding by regulations to reduce the spread adding that maintaining hygiene and discipline is part of the needed control measures.
This was contained in his Easter Sunday message deliver on Dove Television beamed all over the world.
He said that contrary to prophesies, the world is not yet out of the wood adding, “we are not out of the woods yet but it shall be over not too long”.
Pastor Adeboye however maintained that the pandemic won’t be over until the whole world has had a compulsory holiday adding though it is difficult but God will apply the brakes for thosebof us that are his”.
In the sermon,he enjoined faithfuls to know that Jesus us alive having risen from the dead quoting from Matthew 28:1-7 he said,just as there was night between very two days, the resurrection of Jesus symbolise the end of darkness which he emphasised will be the case with every believer in his death and resurrection.
Pastor Adeboye also use the live of Job who lost all during the travails in the first day which was night as exemplified in Job1:1-13,made a remarkable come back when the Lord restored more than what he has lost to him in Job 42:10-17.
He prayed that just as God rolled away the stone from the grave of Jesus signifying his resurrection the third day so shall Joy shall manifest in the life of believers as manifested in Luke 5:1-7.
