In a rare broadcast beamed all over the world,Queen Elizabeth 11,has called on citizens to maintain highest level of self discipline as they endure the pain inflicted by the Coronavirus pandemic.
She said in the face of the rare human scourge citizens must all remain united adding,”it is important on our part that we main discipline to reduce the spread.
According to her, the pandemic has come to define the present and future lives of world citizens adding that health workers deserved to be commended for displaying the national spirit.
“I’ve heard stories of people coming together to help and I must say this is an opportunity to slow down in our lives and offer prayers and meditation adding that people have endured separation from loved ones ” she said.
Queen Elizabeth who is addressing world community first time in 40 years said maintain discipline at this time is the right thing to do.
She disclosed the resolve of the United Kingdom to join other nations in a common endeavour,”we will succeed and that success belongs to us all.”
She assured the people that the scourge will be over”and we will be with our friends and family. We will meet again”.
