As the world leaders struggle to find permanent cure to Coronavirus pandemic ravaging the world, FirstBank
of Nigeria that recently shelled out a hefty sum to the government of Nigeria to support the fight against the deadly virus has stepped up its game in an effort to contain the disease.
This time, the giant financial institution is telling medical workers, caregivers ‘thank you’ in appreciation of the role(s) they are playing or have played as “we face the challenge together.”
In a a series of WhatApps messages the head of the media section of the bank wrote.
“As at 10pm today (Friday, April 3, 2020) all staff of FirstBank, friends and family sent out our thank you to all doctors, nurses and care givers appreciating the role they are playing as we face this challenge together
“We had everyone change the DP image on all social media handles including WhatsApp and telegram at the same time as a Nationwide salute,” the message read.
