First Interim national chairman of All Progressives Congress(APC), Chief Bisi Akande, has said that inspite of goings on in the party, his committee is still poised to address its challenges.
In a chat with Nawdawnngr, Akande who is currently outside the country, said that his committee, which was set up to broker peace in the troubled ruling party, had called for memorandum from stakeholders on their grievances.
He said that the responce to such would determine the approach of the committee to the reconciliation efforts, which had assumed a new dimension with the recent suspension of its National chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and efforts by a camp in the party to use its National Executive Council to remove the embattled party chairman.
Said he,”We have advertised, calling for memoranda of grievances. Our efforts will depend on such returns rather than media partisan reports. ” he said in response to Newdawn enquiries.
