Aminu Ado Bayero being presented a staff of office as the Emir of Bichi.
Emir of Bichi, Aminu Ado Bayero, has been announced as the new Emir of Kano.
He replaced the Muhammadu Sanusi II, who was dethroned a few hours ago.

The appointment takes immediate effect, according to the Secretary to the State Government, Usman Alhaji.
