Lucy Ajayi meets PM, FMTI, lists her achievements so far

The Executive Director/CEO, Lagos International Trade Fair Complex (LITFC), Chief (Mrs.) Lucy Omosefe Ajayi on Tuesday, January 14 2020, on   briefed the new Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment, Dr. Nasir Sani-Gwarzo, on the current situation of things at the Complex
Chief (Mrs,) Ajayi told the PS that the  Complex was established by Decree 68 Of 1993  (now act of parliament) to perform the following statutory functions :
1. Manage and maintain the Lagos trade fair as  national sset
2. Add Infrastructure To Attracts Investors
3. To Liaise With Chambers Of Commerce And Industry
4. To Organize Trade Fair Exhibition
5. To Organize Seminars , Workshops And Conferences On Trade Related Issues
6. Established And Manage A National Permanent Exhibition Pavilion In The Complex
7. Published A National Index In Trade Fair And Exhibition
8. Manage International Shopping Complex
9. Invest In Bonds And Security
Achievement of Chief (Mrs.) Lucy Ajayi’s administration so far
1. Generated Over 1.3 Billion Naira Internally From November 2017 To December 2019
2. Rehabilitation Of 5KM Road Within The Complex
3. Rehabilitation Of Wing-A Of The Office Complex
4. Purchase Of Furniture For Offices
5. Installation Of Electrical/Electronic And Re-Wiring Of The Offices
6. Restoration Of Electricity To The Complex Which Was Cut-Off As A Result Of Debt Incur By Former Concessionaires
7. Repair Of Offices And Restoration Of Water Supply To The Offices
8. Evacuation Of Blocked Drainage And Removal Of Illegal Structures
9. Regular Cutting Of Trees And Grasses… Clearing Of Canal To Allow Free Flow Of Drainage
10. Purchase Of Standby Generator
11. Purchase Of 3 Numbers If Official Vehicles
12. Rehabilitation Of Wing-B Of The Office Complex
13. Recovery Of Debt Owed By Trades And Business Men In The Complex … Including 6.5 Billion Naira Owed By The Former Concessionaires
14. Provisions Of Venue For Hosting Socio-Cultural And Religious Events
