Mother of Kwara State First lady, Mrs. Mary Davis, said she was not surprised of her daughter’s first lady of Kwara State, Dr. Olufolake AbdulRazaq strides because she has always known she will be great.

Mrs. Davis made this statement while giving her goodwill message shortly after European-American University conferred on the First lady a Doctor of science Honoris Causa (DSC Hons) in Excellent Governance and social empowerment on Thursday in Abuja.
Also speaking glowingly of the First lady, after the conferment, mother of the governor ,Hajiya Raliat Abdulrazaq ,elougised the First lady describing her as “a good wife. She takes good care of me and I am very proud of her.”
The recipient in her response promised to wear the honour with all sense of commitment, pride and humility.
While calling on the institution to inculcate curriculum that will help create skills in the students, Dr. Abdulrazaq says, “I urge the university to inculcate in their curriculum life skills to be imparted in to our young people to make them self-reliant and responsible members of the larger society. Let’s seek to create well rounded individuals who have the right mix of skills that prepares them for life as well as for work.”
Speaking further after the conferment, she added that the honour will do more in bringing plausible alliances that would guarantee qualitative education, exchange opportunities, tutoring and access to scholarship for indigent students in Kwara State.
