The Chairman, defunct Lagos State Congress of Progressive Change (CPC), Chief Ajibade Emiabata Balogun, is dead.
Though, details and date of his death is still sketchy, a post in a WhatApps forum by Chief (Mrs/) Lucky Omosefe Ajayi the CEO/executive director of Lagos International Trade Fair Complex (LITFC), who was also a one time prominent member and women leader of the party that had President Muhammadu Buhari as its presidential candidate at the time only a few believed in him, said he will buried at Alapafuja.

“Chief Ajibade Emiabata Balogun is dead. He would be buried this afternoon at Alapafuja. May his soul RIP. Amen. My late defunct CPC state chairman, Adieu, sunre o,” Chief Omosefe Ajayi wrote ” Sad, sad, sad. We spoke some days ago and you told me that all will soon be fine. I didn’t know it will be that last I will speak with you. It’s well o. May your soul RIP my chairman.”
