The Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, has affirmed the victory of the State Governor, Emmanuel Udom.

The three man panel, in a unanimous decision upheld the results as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The tribunal dismissed the petition of Mr Nsima Ekere of the All Progressives Congress (APC)
