Barely after three months in office,civil servants in Ogun state may be heading for a showdown with Governor Dapo Abiodun over alleged deductions from their salaries, Newdawn sources have revealed.

The civil servants are said to be lamenting that there appears to be no difference between Governor Dapo Abiodun and the former, Senator Ibikunle Amosu
Essentially, Governor Abiodun is also not paying deductions from their salaries and allowances
While Senator Amosun was owing years of such deductions, Governor Abiodun is also doing so
Rather than pay Gross, the Governor is also paying NET, a development which has made them see him as dishonest
Some however said that they were not disappointed as Abiodun did not come out to actually campaign
A senior officer said “I had no expectation. He did not promise us anything? In fact, he didn’t campaign. So we cannot hold him liable to anything.”
