An unnumbered truck Monday evening has killed a woman along the College Road, Ogba, Lagos.
The woman, identified as Iya Ibeji was a popular trader in the area before the truck which apparently lost control rammed into her shop killing her instantly.
Meanwhile, the whereabouts of the baby in her arms shortly before the accident are still unknown as at press time.
The trailer also rammed into a a car dealer in the next shop. The car dealer was rushed to a nearby hospital.
Although eye witnesses have confirmed that, |The car dealer has been refereed to the Ifako Ijaiye General Hospital when the local hospital couldn’t handle the emergency.”
According to the report, the truck whose driver fled the scene of the accident was coming from Iju Ishaga and reportedly had a break failure then rammed into the shops around Oyemekun Bus Stop also damaging the walkway.
Spokesman of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) told New Dawn on Whatsaap that a response team is already activated to the scene.”
