Contrary to speculations in high quarters,President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the re-appointment of Mr Boss Mustapha as Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), and Malam Abba Kyari as Chief of Staff (COS) to the President.
The reappointment of the duo ran against the promise by the President in a recent interview to rejig the Presidency and this has heightened intense lobby and speculations about his preference for a fresh blood.
Newdawn sources had revealed during the week of intense lobby by Northern power brokers against the preference of the President for a renowned cleric,Pastor Tunde Bakare.
This development has pitched Northern power brokers against the Presidents move.
By this development,there sy not be any significant change in the direction and composition of the government in the next four years.
Both appointments according to Mr Garba Shehu whose re- appointment too, is yet to be announced, take effect from May 29, 2019.
In another development, the President have also made eleven other personal staff.They are:

3. Dr Suhayb Sanusi Rafindadi – Personal Physician to the President
4. Amb. Lawal A. Kazaure – State Chief of Protocol
5. Sabiu Yusuf – Special Assistant (Office of the President)
6. Saley Yuguda – Special Assistant (House Keeping)
7. Ahmed Muhammed Mayo – Special Assistant (Finance & Administration)
8. Mohammed Hamisu Sani – Special Assistant (Special Duties)
9. Friday Bethel – Personal Assistant (General Duties)
10. Sunday Aghaeze – Personal Assistant (State Photographer)
11. Bayo Omoboriowo – Personal Assistant (Presidential Photographer)
The above appointments take effect from May 29, 2019.
