The Director, Legal Services, TRACE, Barrister Abdul-Azzez Ajidele, gave this charge in his lecture, titled, ‘’Road Traffic Laws, Anti-Graft Bill and its Implication on Traffic Managers’’, at an orientation programme for Officers, held at the Valley View Auditorium, Abeokuta.

Barrister Ajidele, noted that, Traffic Managers were meant to ensure accidents are minimized on the road, saying, ‘’the purpose of this orientation is to prepare officers of the task ahead of them at their various duty post. It is the responsibility of our officers to caution road users and apprehend them where necessary”.

He warned Officers against assaulting road users but educate them on traffic laws, calling for collaboration between TRACE and other road managers, such as Vehicle Inspection Officers (VIOs) and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).

While appreciating Government for organising the capacity building for them, one of the participants, Miss Nofisat Salako, said, it was a way of educating them on the objectives of the Corps.
