Chairman, Senate Committee on Local and Foreign Debts, Senator Shehu Sani has warned Federal government against releasing N649.4 billion last tranches of Paris Club Debts refunds to Governors.
Shehu Sani said releasing such fund to Governors that are finishing their tenure and those facing litigations is dangerous gamble.
Speaking on his twitter handle, he said,”Given out Billions of the last tranche of Paris refund to Governors who have finished their terms and those with litigations challenging their elections is a dangerous gamble;And it’s possible that it’s this category of people pushing for it.”
