The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the African Action Congress (AAC) on Monday suspended Omoyele Sowore over misappropriation of fund.
The party suspended Sowore as National Chairman and appointed
new acting national chairman, Leonard Nzenwa.
Leonard has been swore-in immediately by the party leadership.
According to the party , Sowore is being suspended for alleged anti-party activities, failure to convene NEC meeting and financial misappropriation.
Also, the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party
disclosed suspension of other members of his executive takes effect from March 27 .
The suspension will be lasted for six months except overturned by a National Convention of the party.
