PDP asks A/Court President to quit presidential poll tribunal

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has asked the President of Appeal Court, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa, to quit Presidential election Tribunal .

Justice Bulkahuwa presided on Wednesday presided over Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

The Opposition party in a letter dated May 8 which was addressed to Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa herself said there is possibility for Justice Bulkachuwa to be biased because of her husband is Senator-elect on the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC).

Justice Bulkachuwa’s husband contested Senatorial election on the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Bauchi state on February 23 and emerged as the winner of Senatorial election, according to PDP.

PDP said there was fear among Nigerians over your emergency as President of Appeal Court, but the fear now worsening with Justice Bulkachuwa presiding over the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.
