The National Judicial Council, NJC has delected Justice Walter Onnoghen’s name from the Council’s members’ list .
The Council however named the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Muhammad, as the acting chairman.
Check at the Council website revealed that Onnoghen’s name was removed as Council members.
President Muhammadu Buhari controversially had suspended Chief Justice Walter Onnoghen in January over allegation of false and non-declaration of assets.
