The auditorium of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), City of God Cathedral, Akiode-Ojodu, was filled to it’s brim on Palm Sunday as guests from all walks of life thronged the church to witness the investiture of Cardinal, (Dr.) James Omolaja Odunmbaku, as a fellow of Chartered Institute of Public Resources Management and Politics (CIPRM), Ghana.
Before the decoration and investiture as a fellow by the Executive Director of the Institute, Dr. Richards Kpoku, Dr. Odunmbaku had earlier received the face of Asiwaju Award as the Best Lagos West Leader in 2018/19.
Organisers, family, friends, associates, members of his congregation and even staff chose the day to pay endless tributes to the man who everybody loved to call, ‘Baba Eto’.

Dr. Kpoku revealed that Cardinal Odunmbaku earned the honour by meeting up with the statutory and mandatory prerequisite for the fellowship honour, through selfless service, excellent leadership and political integrity in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Some other Nigerians who are fellows of the Institute include: Emir of Kano, Saminu Lamido Sanusi, Hajia Aisha Buhari, Chief Afe Babalola, Professor Suleiman Abdulkareem, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, Chief Kensington Adebutu (Baba Ijebu) and Minister for Communication, Dr. Adebayo Shittu among others.
