Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s recent appointment of Permanent Secretaries is threatening the cohesion of the state civil service as some officers were elevated above their superiors
The officers who are said to be close to the wife of the Governor, Mrs Olufunso Amosun and the SSG Mr. Adeoluwa were elevated far above their supperiors
The officers Mrs Bolaji Fajounbo and Mr. Olanrewaju Saks were directors in the office of the First Lady and SSG respectively
Informed sources told New Dawn that the two junior officers were given double promotion from level 13 to 15 skipping 14 before they were appointed.

A senior civil servant who wants to remain anonymous said ” they are relatively junior officers and what the Governor has done is capable of destroying the service
“Very senior officers on Level 17 were bye passed and those who should be on 14 are made PS. Very unfortunate because they were sucking up to government ”
New Dawn learnt that the list of the PS which was announced was riddled with names of cronies except for few which were applauded.
