Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima visited preferred candidate for Senate President seat, Senator Ahmad Lawan.
Shettima is from same state with Senator Mohammed Ndume who is also contesting for the seat of Senate President.
Shettima visited Lawan in company of outgoing Senator from Borno state, Baba Kaka.
The development may have dashed hope of Mohammed Ndume of becoming Senate President.
