Senate on Tuesday adjourned plenary session till next week over failure of its standing Committee to conclude 2019 budget proposal considerations.
The motion adjournment was moved by the Senate leader, Ahmad Lawan.
Earlier before the adjournment, Senate Vice Chairman on Appropriation, Sunny Ogbuji had told Senate that not up to ten Committees have submitted their budget to them.

After his submission, Senate ruled that Red Chamber will use budget submitted by the agencies to prepare its report for any committee that fails to submit its report to the appropriation Committee.
