Special Adviser to Governor of Kano state, Dawisu Tanko on Monday stated that removal of Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi is not in immediate agenda of Governor of Kano state, Abdullahi Ganduje.
Ganduje’s aide on Media made this known on his twitter handle after reported removal of Emir of Kano portrait from government house in Kano state.
He said, “The rumours of the dethronement of the Emir of Kano remains that, a mere rumour. H.E Governor Umar Ganduje just came out of a close election that was keenly contested and has a state to govern, which has been so polarized. Emir is not on our immediate agenda. Kindly disregard.”
