An High Court Sitting in Yola on Thursday failed to vacate injunction restraining Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct Adamawa Supplementary Governorship election.
The rerun election was scheduled for March 23, this weekend.
Besides, due to suit filed by Movement for Restoration of Defense and Democracy (MRDfD) over failure of Electoral body to include the party’s logo in the ballots , the Court restrain INEC from proceeding with the Election.
The Court today decided to continue the case next week Tuesday thereby frustrating proposed supplementary Governorship election from holding in affected areas in Adamawa state.
