There is strong indication that Crisis might begin across the States as Senate Panel Approved N30,000 minimum wage for Civil servants in the country.
In the minimum wage bill forwarded to National Assembly from President Muhammadu Buhari, the national council of state had approved the sum of N27,000, while the federal government said it would increase to N30,000 for its workers.
But, the Senate Adhoc Committee in its report recommended N30,000 minimum wage across board for civil servants at the states and Federal level.
It could be recalled that some state governors had said that the N30,000 minimum wage will not be feasible for them to pay for workers at the states level.
However, the Panel in its recommendations said both sates and Federal government workers should be placed on N30,000 wage.
The position of the panel was made known by Senator Shehu Sani who was part of the Panel which its report will be submitted for consideration by next week.
