The reappointment of Zinedine Zidane to Real Madrid as coach may be a timebomb Chelsea FC should be weary of, if the Bernabeu club’s desire to reclaim their slipping glory is anything to go by.

The Telegraph published an headline captioned: “Exclusive: Real Madrid make move for Eden Hazard as Zidane return boosts chances he will leave Chelsea,” reported thus: “Real firmed up their interest in Hazard shortly before Zidane’s reappointment, on a contract until 2022, had been finalised. The decision to replace Santiago Solari with the Frenchman will only increase the Chelsea forward’s desire to go.
