The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Samuel Ortom is within touch of been declared winner of Saturday governorship election in Benue State.
Having polled 317,730 votes from the results of the Governorship polls in 19 Local Government Areas of Benue against the All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Emmanuel Jime’s 264, 505 votes with four local governments yet to be announced, Ortom could be declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) before the end of today.
Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Ifeanyi Okowa is also on the verge of clinching Saturday governorship election after leading in 13 out of the 14 local governments in Delta State that has been announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
His closed rival, Chief Great Ogboru is yet to win any local government.
