Mr Seyi Makinde, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State on Saturday won in his Ward 11 Unit 01 polling centre in Ibadan North East Local Government Area.
The PDP candidate won with 165 votes to defeat his close rival, Adebayo Adelabu of the All Progressives Congress(APC) who scored 71 votes.
Announcing the results, Mr Nnamdi Emmanuel, the Presiding Officer for the polling unit, said that the ADC candidate, Femi Lanlehin, came third with two votes.
In the House of Assembly results at the polling unit, PDP also won with 142 votes while the APC scored 70 votes with ADC getting seven votes.
The total registered voters in the polling unit was 705 while 241 were accredited and voted.
There was also no case of void votes recorded in the governorship election although four void votes were recorded in the Assembly election.(NAN)
