(2) A judge of the federal high court in Adamawa, related to M Z Anka (Gen Aliyu Gusau’s pawn) is the one coordinating with Nyesom Wike and Mike Ozekhome in reaching out to judges.
(3) It appears that there is now a rift in the ‘generals’ camp’ with Obasanjo and Abdussalaami Abubakar counseling that Atiku accepts defeat and move on. In their view, the election was largely peaceful and credible – and PDP lost clearly.

(4) Election observers – both domestic and international/ should be encouraged to announce their preliminary verdict on the peaceful and credible nature of the elections today. Focus should be on ECOWAS, AU and Commonwealth as others are likely to be influenced by the position of the US Embassy.
(5) INEC should no longer delay the announcement of the results as it would appear timed to give PDP room to create judicial confusion.
