The Alliance for Democracy Party (AD) has reported to the Police and INEC and the DSS people caught at various Local Government areas of the state with fake INEC identity tags issued to AD.
According to the State PRO of Alliance for Democracy, Comrade Olayemi Olowu, ” a man was caught in the INEC office Ilaro with INEC Identity belonging to AD. When he was questioned, he reportedly said he was recruited by APM while another at Ifo claimed to be working for APC” The governoship candidate of AD said “we are deeply concerned over reports from our situation room that APM and APC agents are impersonating AD agents at the INEC Local Government offices. We have made reports to the police stations in the affected Local Governments and also to INEC.
The police,DSS, INEC, Independent observers and the general public are hereby informed to be aware of electoral fraud being perpertuated by these parties and their members. We suspect but sincerely hope these are not part of sinister plans by APC and APM to mar the credibility of the elections and truncate the will of the people of Ogun State. The parties involved, are hereby warned to desist from acts of sabotage and election manipulation in Ogun State.
