Card carrying members of the All progressives Congress (APC), especially those resident in Ward D Lonlo area of Iju In Lagos State, have sworn to an oath not to sell their PVCs or accept any inducement from opposing parties, especially the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The decision to take the oath was taken to checkmate the foray of PDP’s candidate, Fatee Mohammed, who has in recent times raved up her electioneering campaign towards next weekend election.

The beautiful lady who is gunning for the House of Representatives on the platform of PDP to represent the good people of Ifako/ijaiye Federal Constituency of Lagos state, is alleged to be distributing eight (8) derica of rice (worth N250 a derica) to those who have bee thronging her campaign venues, a box matches laced with N5 note and the people are said to be going for it in droves; they said it was a spectactuar scene recently at Akande Street, off Toyin Bus Stop, iju when the womenfolk came in good numbers to listen to her and share in her goodies. It was based on that, that the leadership of APC, our source said, braced up and summoned an emergency meeting at which the decision to lay the curse on their members and supporters was taken.

On their own, the APC leaders in the area are said to be so tight fisted that some members of the party were not willing to go to the President Buhari’s just concluded presidential Rally in the state because they reasoned that nothing will come out of it materially.

“APC is so stingy in Iju area. Them no dey give money. Since i begin attend the party meetings, na only N5 I don get and before I get am nko, I shout taya. Them keep telling us ‘APC ni kan lo le shey…for this Saturday Buhari campaign, na only two yards of ankara dem give us no matter how fat you be. Na only senator Yayi share something for us. the day he come our mini stadium near ifako General Hospital, jiu road, he share TV, DVD, handset but na heavy fight and struggle to get inside and get it,” our source who also said that since some people took their bank account number, details of their PVC, full size pictures with a promise to wire N10, 000 into their account, they are yet to receive the alert.
