Barely a week after the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo escaped an air mishap in Kabba, west of Kogi s
State, First Lady of the North Central State, Amina Bello, was also on Saturday involved in a car accident at same Kabba.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Onogwu Muhammed, confirmed the accident occurred around Oshokoshoko area of Kabba as the Governor’s wife was on her way to Isanlu for a rally organised by the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to him, the Governor’s wife and her three aides survived the accident Saturday morning.
“In appreciation to God Almighty for his faithfulness to the New Direction family, the Kogi State government wishes to announce that three aides to the Governor and his wife survived an accident this morning,” he said.
Continuing, he said “The government appreciate God once again, that all persons are in perfect condition.
“The governor’s wife’s door-door campaign train continues with their rally to the western senatorial district after a successful two days outing in Kogi East.”
