While some Lagosians are excited and eagerly waiting for the arrival of President Muhammadu Buhari and his Presidential Campaign team to the state, a section of them, especially those who live off or ply the Lagos Badagry Expressway are disappointed that the road is not among the route the president will ply when he visits on Saturday, February 9, 2019 to unfold his second term agenda to the residents of the state.
The party in conjunction with the campaign team had on Thursday, February 6 2019, released the designated routes the president and his entourage will take to get to the places, including Tesilim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, where the mega rally will hold.
Below are the designated routes.

1. ROUTE ONE(MOTORCADES) PRESIDENTIAL WING –OBA OF LAGOS PALACE:
From Presidential Wing – Airport Road – Airport Toll Gate – Ajao Estate – Oshodi Oke –Anthony Oke – Gbagada – Oworonshoki – Third Mainland
Bridge– Adekunle Inter-section – Adeniji Adele Junction – Oba Of Lagos Palace.
2. ROUTE TWO (MOTORCADE) OBA OF LAGOS PALACE – STATE HOUSE MARINA
From Oba of Lagos Palace – Oyebanji – Third Mainland Bridge – Obalende – Onikan Bridge –Onikan Round About – TBS – State House Marina.

Some of the residents of the area who spoke to us on the conditional of annoynimoty agreed that the Badagry Expressway was not among his routes, “but he would have taken time to come and visit this area to see things for himself. To see how Ambode abandoned the beautiful work his predecessor was doing. At least he will begin to know in full details why Ambode was denied second term ticket. This is not fair on us, when he came to commission the bus terminal in Ikeja, he no even look our side. Now, he is coming for campaign no feelings for our area and us,” the sources said.
