Top on the long list of those whose names have been dropped and who are correctly lobbying to take over from the ex-Zenith international Bank Managing Director who was appointed as the apex bank governor on June 3 2014, is the Chairman of the Federal Inland revenue Services (FIRS), Mr. Babatunde Fowler.
Fowler is said to be toppling the list of potential successor to Emefiele, no thanks to his impressive achievements as FIRS chairman.
