The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday resolved to invite spokesman of Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin and former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode who circulated a fake news on Tuesday.
Both Fani-Kayode and Odumakin raised alarm that the residence of Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Walter Onnoghen have invaded by anti-graft agency.
For raising fake alarm both Fani-Kayode and Odumakin are to appear at the anti-graft agency office today (Wednesday) in Abuja to shield more light on the source of information.
This was made known by Acting spokesman of the agency, Tony Orilade,
According to Orilade, we are inviting them today and if they don’t talk, we get an order to detain them for fourteen days in our office.
Onnoghen is facing allegations of false asset filings with the Code of Conduct Bureau.
