THE Baale of Oke-Igbere, a community in Lagos State, His Royal Highest, Tajudeen AmooOro-Lowo Ganiyu, has made a passionate appeal to the Lagos State Government come to the aide of the community by fixing the only road that leads to entry and exit from the town.
The baale who was speaking in an exclusive interview with this reporter at the residence of one of his chiefs, Yeye Lucy Omosefe-Ajayi, after a carol of nine lessons held in her residence by the St. Jude Anglican Church, Mende Maryland, Lagos, said that what the town urgently needs is the rehabilation of the road leading to the town and which is now in a terrible state.
“We need road. The only road leading to the town is very bad right now. Road is what we urgently need,” the bale said in an interview after the carol.
The paramount ruler also took time out to give reasons while he bestowed the Chieftancy of Yeye Of the Universe on Mrs. Lucy Omosefe-Ajayi, on December 8, 2018.
According to him, Mrs. Omosefe-Ajayi’s large heart and contributions to the development of the town, stood her out as a worthy recipient of the title from his Kingdom.
He also said that as a Muslim, he decided to attend the carol because he believes in worshipping God.
