The executive Director/ Chief Executive Officer of Lagos International Tradefair scored another first with the successful hosting of the carol of nine lessons of St. Jude Anglican Church, Made Street, mende, Maryland, Lago State.
The carol held in her Maryland Crescent private residence is the first in the series of four carols lined up by the church and which continued on Monday, December 24,2 2018.
The carol, which witnessed a huge turn out of members of the church, friends and well wishers of the host including her All Progressives Congress APC) associates was officiated by the reverend. canon Gbeke Odusanya the vicar of the church and assisted by Revs. Dare adelusi and Femi Agbolade.
And it started by 6pm on Sunday , December 23 2018 with the processional hymn ” come , All ye faithful.”
The husband of the host, Chief Ajayi , read the first passage of the evening followed by the second read by the host.
There were soul lifting hymns rendered by the members of the church while the current Miss Lagos State University, Miss James Esther, rendered popular Christmas songs.
There was lot for all to eat and drink while the vicar prayed for a peaceful crossover to 2019 for nigerians and Nigeria.
