There was tension on Thursday at the Headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), as protesters from Yewa Senatorial District in Ogun State exchanged words with security operatives.

The protesters numbering over 200 under the aegis of Masses Against Electoral Fraud, are all members of the All Progressives Congress and Yewa Collective Action Movement.

They were protesting against the alleged irregularities which produced Dapo Abiodun as the governorship candidate of APC in Ogun State.

As early as 8:30am, the protesters bearing anti-APC placards, including “INEC must disqualify Dapo Abiodun” and “Security agencies should investigate Dapo Abiodun”, marched towards INEC office.
