The Governing Council of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso has announced the appointment of new principal officers to take over the running of the University from the incumbent Professor Adeniyi Gbadegesin led administration whose five year tenure ends on February 14, 2019.
The incoming Management has, as Vice Chancellor, a renowned Professor of Food Science, Professor Michael Olufisayo OLOGUNDE, Dr. Kayode Akindele OGUNLEYE, as Registrar and Secretary to Council, while Mr. Abayomi Abiodun Okediji is the Bursar.
Visitors to the University, Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State, and his counterpart in the State of Osun, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola have approved their choices as recommended by the Professor Dapo Afolabi led Governing Council.
There are indications that the position of University Librarian would be filled soon as the Council at its 135th(Special ) meeting held last week directed that the vacancy in the position be re-advertised while the process of appointing a new University Librarian be concluded on or before January 25, 2019.
All appointments take effect from February 14, 2019
