The running mate to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in the forthcoming general elections, Mr. Peter Obi, was among thousands of faithful that attended Shiloh but was, however, not recognised at the Friday morning session of the five-day annual event tagged Dominion.
The Vice-Presidential hopeful who was not called to the pulpit for either greeting or a ‘word of blessing’, left immediately after the ‘Hour of Visitation’ service at noon.
Other dignitaries who graced the event were former Senate President of Nigeria, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim; former Governor of Cross River State, Senator Liyel Imoke and Honourable Nicolas Mutu, a member representing Bomandi/Patani constituency, among others.
Leading ministers of God present at the annual event christened “the convocation of members of the Winners’ family were Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Pastor Paul Enenche, who recently dedicated a 100,000 capacity Glory Dome, now reputed to be the largest church auditorium in the world; Pastor David Ibiyeomie, the Senior Pastor of Salvation Ministries International, (Home of Success), Port-Harcourt, who is also about completing THE HAND OF GOD, a 90,000-seater capacity church auditorium in Port Harcourt.
Other leading ministers of the gospel (who are referred to as sons of the prophet as Bishop Oyedepo’s sons are referred to) in attendance were Pastor Femi Emmanuel of Living Spring Chapel, Ibadan; Bishop Feb Idahosa of Church of God Mission, Benin City; Reverend Sam Adeyemi of Day Star Christian Centre, Lagos; Bishop John Praise Daniel; Pastor Samuel Olubiyo, Senior Pastor, Triumphant Christian Centre; and Bishop Taky Yabo and his team from Ghana.
Custodians of tradition also in attendance were the Ohen-Isa of Benin Kingdom, Chief Osarumwense Amayo; the Ezeji of Igbere, HRM Eze Joseph Aneganta; Olomu of Owode Ijesa, Chief Perinmade Adejumo Amos; Urhukpeoghene 1 of Agborho Kingdom, Chief Joseph Alporibo (JP); and Amayanbo of Nangwo-Ama Opu Kula Kingdom, HRH Honourable J. D. W. Opuende, among others.
The event which will end with a thanksgiving service on Sunday, December 9, 2018, is the 20th edition of the annual programme that features prayers, special ministrations, instant testimonies and encounter nights.
